Dr. Vüsal Əliyev psixiatrdır və Ege Hospitalda fəaliyyət göstərir. 2005–2011-ci illərdə İstanbul Universiteti Tibb Fakültəsində ali tibb təhsili alıb, 2014–2020-ci illərdə Ankara Universiteti Tibb Fakültəsində psixiatriya üzrə ixtisaslaşıb. Uzmanlıq tədqiqatı major depressiv pozuntusu olan xəstələrdə dərman müalicəsinin koqnitiv funksiyalara təsirinə həsr olunub. Depressiv və bipolyar pozuntular, təşviş pozuntuları, obsessiv-kompulsiv pozuntu, psixotik pozuntular, yuxu problemləri, yaşlılarda psixiatrik problemlər və alkoqol asılılığı üzrə klinik təcrübəsi var. Şəxsiyyətlərarası psixoterapiya və qəbul-öhdəlik terapiyası (ACT) kimi psixoterapiya kurslarında iştirak edib.
